UNIQUE LA x TIGERS to LILIES

Back in May, TIGERS to LILIES had the unique task of adding 'life' to the Unique LA event by bringing in plants/trees/flower boxes along with our brand of hand-welded plant stands. Unique LA is a  weekend mart for all creatives here in Los Angeles - a showcase and opportunity for local brands to introduce their products and shine. Working alongside one of my brothers, we managed to add some much needed green spirit to the large space and couldn't have been more proud!

I still operate from a family-base, meaning that when I need something designed/welded/built/created/delivered (sometimes by motorcycle!) I turn to either one of my adeptly skilled brothers, my husband Elijah, or my assistant Jessica. We are a tight unit and operate very well together. Something that I am quite proud of and most grateful for.

Thank you again Unique LA!

Lovely Jennifer of Ermie has paired me up with the insanely talented artist Emilie Halpern. I did tiny arrangements for her winsome ceramics line being sold this weekend at Ermie's table. Seriously good scores at her table, including work from dear friends Lauren Spencer King + Claire Cottrell. Jennifer's line is to covet, and my dear friend Britt Browne will also have a table there. In other words, you should stop by. Thank you Jennifer!

I'll be at the store in person, making arrangements for you! All foraged by me from Rose Lane Farms + Muir Ranch! That means that all my flowers are local, seasonal, and pesticide-free! Very, very special indeed. Stop by and say hello! Thank you so much Lynne & Mud Baron!

PLANTS: OUR SILENT GUARDIANS

I am sooo excited to share this with you today and to invite you to come out next Thursday, March 21st for our opening ceremony to help us celebrate the TIGERS TO LILIES installation + collaboration: PLANTS: OUR SILENT GUARDIANS

I have been asked to be the artist-in-residence for one month at The Standard Hollywood and I sincerely couldn't be more honored or psyched! As is my nature I knew that I wanted to collaborate with my friends: the amazing artists Lauren Spencer King + Claire Cottrell! Together the three of us have come up with what I can confidently say will be a staggeringly beautiful installation with of course a lot of wild and a lot of depth. You. Have. To. Come!

Furthermore, just to sprinkle all this goodness with even more fun, Claire's BOOKSTAND will have a physical space in the hotel lobby as a pop-up for the duration of the installation 3/21 - 4/21! If you know anything about Claire you know that this will be a most special space with such treasures to read, workshops to attend and lectures to be heard all while sipping on herb-infused refreshments + snacks. So seriously, how exciting is Spring looking? I'll do my best to give you as much info about all of this as it unfolds, OK?

Thank you Jenni B. + The Standard!

St. Valentine's Day Pop-Up

A really big and heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up! It was a busy, busy day but I felt extremely grateful: to Marta & Robert of Cookbook for letting me use their beautiful space, to Shelter Half for granting me their grand scale space, to artist Lauren Spencer King for her winsome handmade cards, to artist Cheri Messerli for her bewitching marbleized papers, to Ben Medansky for his one-of-a-kind hand thrown ceramics and porcelains, and to each and every one of you who stopped by and gave me love from far and wide.

I read that 'flowers trigger emotions of happiness.' How very true. Really then, what could be better?
