ALL YOU NEED IS . . .

This year has felt so intense. Do you feel like that too? There is so much trouble, anger, hatred and low vibrations throughout what seems the entire world. A lot of fear, negativity and misunderstandings while not a whole lot of love, compassion and understanding to balance the scales. I can feel the weight. Can you? On a personal level we have lost more than a fair share of friends these past two months. Big losses. Sad losses that seem to coin the term 'Life can so so unfair, so unjust.' And outward on to a larger scale with the losses happening in the greater world. Times like these cause for pause and reflection. They also call for coming together and connecting. We need more love. The world needs more light.

I am curious if you too feel this? Do you have solutions?

Freunde von Freunden Outtakes

all photos by claire cottrell
Hi friends.  I have a very special post to share with you tonight and I have been wanting to share this with you for a long while now. I know that I don't really share much about my personal life here. I did share our wedding with tid bits here and there but tonight I would like to quietly share with you mine and Elijah's home.

My very dear friend Claire Cottrell suggested us to Freunde von Freunden and not only wrote about us but took all of these beautiful photos. When we were first asked to do this I was so honored and excited but then felt a bit reluctant to share because we live a pretty modest life. We don't really own a lot of fancy objects or furniture but what we do have is a lot of love and I feel that Claire captured that with her interview and photos! Furthermore the three of us had a really heartfelt and fun day when this was shot and I sincerely hope that you feel the love and good vibes too. These are the outtakes and you can see the final shots and read our interview here.

Thank you so kindly Claire + Fvf! We are beyond touched and honored.

(Funny too that we actually have five cats but funny enough all of the other four were being shy this day so you get to meet Osa, our youngest black and white cat).
