Hi friends! I have to share with you a little treasure of a book called The Flowers of La Grenouille. It's an intimate little book that a son dedicates to his father about all the lessons he has learned over the years watching his father tend to the flowers and the importance granted to the arrangements his father lovingly puts together for the restaurant. It's just so charming and sweet, and basically tells the story behind his father's passion for all things beautiful. Have you read it? Have you eaten there? The book also provides delightful illustrations on how to make cut flowers last, how to revive drooping blooms, and how to create sensational bouquets. Definitely worth a read & visit!

Clearing it out...
Moving entails so much clearing out and letting go of stuff, items, things; I still can't believe that we have so much stuff considering Elijah and I are not big consumers! Some of my excavations from within the deeper ends of our closests are beautiful old dusty letters, well worn but forgotten shoes, and photographs and skecthes. It's a rather wonderous and lifitng process. Our old apartment has now turned into an old lover: I'm gatehring all the pieces of myself, of us, and then leaving it all behind for good. And I loooove our new home...I will share some pictures of our new place soon. When did you last move? Did you find some forgotten treasures too?

*thank you*
I've received a lot of kind emails and comments lately and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you. It always means a lot to me to read what you think or what in particular inspires you or simply just to meet you via email. So I made you this collage. Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
Elijah and I are moving into our new home tomorrow...! ! !
